Programme outline

The ISAE-SUPAERO Institute offers a wide range of science and engineering degree programs with a number of scholarships offered through industry support and the SUPAERO Foundation for pursuing studies towards a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering degree. These scholarships cover tuition and part of living expenses.

What the scholarship offers

The following is a list of scholarship programmes available for South African students:

ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation: full tuition fees and a zero rate loan to cover living expenses (12 600€ for two years)
CEDAR (Airbus): full tuition fees and stipend of 3 500€ (approximately R 50 000) per year.
GIFAS(Aerospace industries): full tuition fees and stipend of 5 000€ (approximately R 73 000) per year
TSAE (PhD track): 35 000 € (approximately R 510 000) for tuition fees and living expenses over two years

Scholarship awardees would be required to cover all costs not included in their respective scholarship. The approximate full cost of studies is as follows:

• Tuition fees: 10 600 € per year (approximately R 155 000.00)

• Living expenses: 8 000 to 10 000 € per year (approximately R 120 000 to R 155 000)

• International flights, visa costs, airport transfers and other expenses are not included.

Who can apply?

Applicants who hold a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical Systems, Telecommunications or a French licence in Science and Engineering.
