The German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) is offering a part-time digital Managing Global Governance (MGG) programme from August to December 2021. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and related restrictions, the MGG will be delivered digitally. MGG is a 4 month training and dialogue programme that brings together young professionals from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa and Europe to collectively address global challenges.
Degree level
Four month training course (9 August to 8 December 2021).
Deadlines
The application deadline is 31 March 2021.
Who can apply?
Participants must:
- Work in partner institution of the MGG network or in an institution that is interested in future cooperation
- Be between 25 and 40 years old
- Have three years of working experience
- Have good proficiency in English
- Passionate about global cooperation and sustainable development
- Be a team player, sensitive to other cultures and open to a broad variety of working methods
- Be willing to fully commit to a four- months digital programme with participants from seven other countries and time zones
- Be available full days from Monday to Wednesday for MGG activities
Fields of Study
Academic Modules focus on various aspects of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Scholarship offer
All participants will receive:
- Monthly financial support to cover living costs (411€)
- One-time lump sum for technical equipment (100€)
- One time lump-sum for project development (100€)
