The Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) is offering scholarships for Bachelor’s and Master’s programme for South African citizens.
Education programmes are instructed in English.

Who can apply?
- South African citizens in good health (medical test will be required for successful applicants);
- Have a strong academic record.
For Master’s studies:
- Candidates should initially apply for a double degree or single MGIMO degree and indicate preference in the application form
- Have a bachelor’s degree, relevant to the chosen field;
- It is recommended to have at least some proficiency in Russian, but not required;
- Candidates will be expected to attend courses in the Russian language at MGIMO six academic hours per week

What the scholarship offers
The scholarship covers tuition and provides discounts for accommodation. The Department of Higher Education will cover the cost of return flights.

Candidates interested in applying to the Education Programmes at MGIMO must register and complete the application form.
