The Russian Federation will hold the International project Winter University of Engineering Studies from 25 November to 09 December 2024 at the premises of three Russian Universities: Pskov State University, St. Petersburg Peter the Great Polytechnic University and Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State Universit.
The Winter University project will offer an immersive engineering programme in Russia. It provides hands-on learning through expert-led practical classes, project development, and cultural activities. Students will engage with industry leaders and work on innovative projects, with the opportunity to explore Russian culture and regions. The programme strengthens professional skills and international ties in engineering education.

Who can apply?
- South African citizens in good health (medical test will be required for successful applicants);
- Young engineers.
Conditions of participation
- Participants must be willing to actively interact and exchange ideas with representatives from other countries and cultures.
- The participant should register on the project website, apply for participation and wait for the results of the application review.
- When applying, participants should write a detailed motivation letter describing their personal motivation to participate in the project.

What the scholarship offers
- All additional costs, including transportation (tickets), visa processing, accommodation and meals, as well as the organization of excursions, will be covered by the host university.
Please note: Participants' baggage will be transported at the carrier's rates, excess baggage allowance is paid separately by the participant.
