Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is offering international students two centrally-funded scholarships, Research Training Programme (RTP) Stipend and QUT Postgraduate Research Award (QUTPRA). The scholarships offered cover a wide range of skills, experience, courses, and study areas.

- Submit expression of interest by 31st July 2022 – applicants going forward for scholarship consideration will then be asked to submit Part 2 (the due date for this is communicated directly with the applicant),
- Outcomes are expected in November 2022.
- Students are then expected to commence studies in person in Brisbane between 01/01/2023 and 31/07/2023.
Who can apply?
Candidates must enroll in full-time study in a QUT research degree, unless QUT has approved part-time study in accordance with these conditions.

- A $1,520 interstate relocation allowance; - A $420 (masters by research), or $840 (PhD) thesis allowance after submitting your thesis. |
Application process:
Candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
In order to apply for the scholarship, candidates need only apply for admission to a QUT research degree. There is no need to submit separate scholarship applications.
Candidates need to get agreement from your proposed supervisor prior to applying.
- Ensure you meet the entry and English language requirements;
- Identify a supervisor;
- Prepare your supporting documents;
- Complete your research proposal;
- Your expression of interest (EOI) is complete. If successful, you'll receive an invitation to submit your final application.
