The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) through the programme “Development-Related Postgraduate Courses” is offering limited number of full scholarships for students from a wide range of countries for the Master’s in Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design (IUSD) programme.

This interdisciplinary double-degree links perspectives from the South and North by studying the first year at University of Stuttgart (USTUTT), Germany, and the second year at Ain Shams University (ASU) in Cairo, Egypt.

The scholarship is open to graduates and young professionals from the fields of architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture and regional planning as well as to graduates with other Bachelor degrees and with relevant professional experience.

During this course, students will engage critically with theories and practices related to dynamically transforming cities, gain skills and methodologies related to linking research and design, and ground their knowledge in reality-based learning formats.
